Terms of Service

Last updated 22 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Idiqo — the website, the workspace, the free notepad and the whiteboard. Creating an account or using the service means you accept them. They are written to be read, so please do.

1. Your account

You need an account for the workspace. The free notepad and whiteboard do not need one — they live in your browser and nothing is sent to us.

  • Give a real email address. It is how you sign in, and how we reach you about the account.
  • Choose a password of at least eight characters and keep it to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
  • One person per account. Do not share credentials, and do not create an account for anyone else.
  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for online services.

Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

2. Your content stays yours

Your notes, drawings, tasks, uploads and links are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to train anything.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, sync it between your devices, render it back to you, and keep short-lived backups. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account, apart from copies sitting in a backup until it rotates out.

If you publish a page to a link, that page becomes readable by anyone who has the link, for as long as it stays published. Unpublish it from the page menu to stop that.

3. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or use Idiqo to help someone else break it.
  • Upload content you have no right to store or share, or anything that sexualises children.
  • Attack the service: scraping at volume, probing for holes, working around rate limits, or trying to reach another account’s data.
  • Resell, sublicense or rebrand the service as your own.

We can suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

4. AI features

The Copilot sends the text you ask it about — and, for search and suggestions, excerpts from your pages — to a third-party model provider (OpenAI or Anthropic, depending on the model set in Settings) so it can answer. Nothing is sent until you use the feature.

Model output is often wrong, and confidently so. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. Idiqo is not a source of legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and neither is anything the Copilot writes.

5. Availability

Idiqo is offered as it is. We do not promise it will be available at a particular time, free of bugs, or that any specific feature will keep existing. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you depend on, we will try to give notice and a way to get your data out.

Your workspace also lives in your browser, so short outages of our servers usually mean sync pauses rather than your work disappearing. That is not a substitute for your own backups — Settings has an export.

6. Ending it

You can leave at any time. Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and the pages, drawings, tasks, uploads and settings attached to it. Deleted pages sit in the trash for 30 days first and can be restored until then; deleting the account does not wait for that window.

We may close an account that breaks these terms, or that has been dormant long enough that keeping it is not reasonable. Except in cases of abuse, we will give you notice and a chance to export first.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Idiqo is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Idiqo after that means you accept the new version.

9. Contact and governing law

Questions about these terms: hello@idiqo.app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Idiqo is operated, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim there instead.
